Acting on Good Intentions –
the “Merry & Bright” of Your Holiday Giving

Acting on good intentions makes people feel fulfilled – it fuels our need to be in service to others.  Because our generous donors act on their good intentions, COTS continues to provide positive guidance and learning activities to serve individuals experiencing homelessness as they transition to self-sufficiency and independent living.

Some residents, such as Adam, come to us with challenges that present seemingly insurmountable barriers to overcome.  Adam moved into COTS shortly after turning 18. He had fled an abusive home and had no place to live or family to lend help. COTS provided Adam with a plan for improving his well-being and ability to work.

Barrier removal funds allowed COTS to temporarily cover Adam’s program fees and pay for his medication. With the support of donations provided by compassionate people like you, Adam was able to gain a foothold on his health and gain the tools he needed to continue on his path to stability and self-sufficiency.

COTS can only serve others because of compassionate people like you! Your holiday gift at any level for COTS Barrier Removal Fund helps us remove obstacles that prevent our residents from moving on to a better life. Help us support more people like Adam as they strive for a life that includes more moments of merry & bright – act on your good intentions and donate to COTS this holiday season!
