Residential Programs
COTS advances our mission to address the root causes of homelessness in our adult residential programs, which serve the following populations:
- Single Men
- Single Women
- Young Adults (ages 18-24)
- Veterans
Our goal is to provide individuals experiencing homelessness with a safe and affordable place to live, food, household needs and training on basic living skills, enabling them to transition to self-sufficiency and independent living.
Each COTS resident participates in our Living Skills Program. The program focuses on basic living skills: personal care, AODA recovery and relapse prevention, money management, obtaining/maintaining employment, personal responsibility and decision making for self-management. Residents set individual goals and progress is reviewed monthly with staff for the duration of residency.
After residents move out of COTS and into independent housing, they have the option to participate in our Positive Placement Program which allows them to receive support for an additional three years.
Each resident pays a monthly $285 program fee and a one-time $100 security deposit.
