COTS is partner in new exhibit at the History Museum at the Castle

On April 28, 2016, people around the community will see the world through the eyes of those experiencing homelessness. COTS, along with Homeless Connections, Housing Partnership of the Fox Cities, and the Fox Valley Warming Shelter, is partnering with the History Museum at the Castle to create a two-year exhibit focused on snapshots of those experiencing homelessness.

Residents of each organization were given cameras and journals and were asked to record their experiences. Results to be revealed at the opening. In addition to the main exhibit at the History Museum, there is a traveling component for schools, libraries, churches and businesses across the region.

This exhibit is possible thanks to the generous support of many donors and volunteers, including an Arts and Culture Grant from the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, Mielke Family Foundation, Robert Dohr and Lilas Dohr Current Community Needs Fund within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, Daniel Brown, and Eagle Supply and Plastics.
