Ending Homelessness in the Fox Valley

COTS Christmas Community Dinner

Posted on Dec 30, 2018 by

COTS staff and residents were dreaming of a White Christmas…just like the ones we used to know…

…however, Mother Nature had other plans. Yet, though the snow was not billowing over the river and through the woods, the fun and camaraderie were in abundance at the COTS annual Community Christmas Dinner.

Christmas word search games, raffles, and “Pin the Hat on the Snowman” helped round out the festivities. Residents received holiday bags filled with the generous gifts from individuals and groups in the Fox Valley, packaged by Santa’s helpers from Nurses PRN.

We are grateful to all the elves who helped to put the “merry and bright” in our 2018 Christmas party:

Our amazing cooks extraordinaire – Amanda, Joe and Marvin Cherney (ambassadors of Debra Cherney and Cherney Microbiological Services, LTD.) for the Chicken Parmesan, Lasagna, and various sides and dessert.

Other elves included: Secura Employees, St. Christus Lutheran Church, First English Lutheran Church, Good Shepard Lutheran Church, First United Methodist of Appleton, IVI North Inc., Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, St. Thomas More Parish, St. Paul Congregation, Fleet Farm Employees, Thrivent Employees (coordinated by the Printing and Inserting Services Area), U.S. Bank Employees, and many others

May joy and blessings fill your heart with warmth in the coming New Year.

And though it’s been said many times, many ways
…Merry Christmas to you
.
