Ending Homelessness in the Fox Valley

Tech Support

Posted on May 8, 2017 by

Jeremy didn’t think he could go to college. He’s struggled with mental health barriers and addiction throughout his life, but after coming to COTS he saw an opportunity and enrolled at Fox Valley Technical College to earn a IT/Computer Support Associate’s degree.

Today Jeremy is excelling in school, making the Dean’s List each of his five semesters, being inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, an honorary society for technical college students, and was also selected as a 2017 recipient of FVTC’s Achievement Against the Odds Award!

Right now, 7 COTS residents are enrolled in higher education, and they rely on technology to complete their coursework. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to ensure that COTS has the tools each of these residents need for academic success, including a computer with reliable access to the internet and a printer. Your gift, at any level, will support residents like Jeremy as they take this necessary step toward a brighter future. Please consider making a gift today to support our residents’ futures.
